Get To Know Me

Ever since I was a kid, I have been fascinated with the world of fashion. I always knew I wanted to become a fashion designer when I grew up. As I grew up it became crystal clear that I chose the right path for myself. Since then I have not looked back and my love for fashion has only increased day by day. Having participated in every art competition in high school, I started enjoying the process. After years of dreaming to be admitted in a Fashion college, I got admission in School of Fashion Technology Pune and started the real journey. And as they say, the rest is history. Having gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience, I graduated in 2020 with a GPA of 8.83 and an A+ grade.

Soon after graduating, I started my own brand on a social media platform called Instagram. I wanted to create my own opportunity and so, I did. During my internship, I discovered that I had a natural talent for managing both clients and models. I found it easy to understand clients' needs and preferences, which allowed me to deliver exactly what they were looking for with ease. Hence, without having any prior business experience, I took a leap of faith and started the journey of creating my own brand. During the initial days of the lockdown I took an online course of eco-printing and natural dyeing of fabrics. After completing the course in just 3 days I was in awe of these sustainable methods of creating prints and colours on fabrics. I wanted to try that for my brand’s collections. Keeping that in mind, I designed a collection and applied my knowledge of eco printing and natural dyeing to create beautiful fabrics. Doing this process gave me a certain type of pleasure and happiness which I had never experienced. When I saw my outfits becoming a reality, I was stunned. As I launched my collection, it was sold out within a day. That, of course, made me feel ecstatic and I wanted to create more of such clothes for everyone. Slowly, as my brand progressed, I started to realise the need for eco-friendly fashion more and more each day.

With my MSc in International Fashion Business Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, I am more passionate than ever about trying new experiences and exploring different facets of the fashion industry. I am eager to continue learning, embracing new challenges, and growing my expertise as I pursue my journey in fashion with a fresh perspective.
